Caravan Park Rules

Fees

  • All fees must be paid in advance
  • Site fees and onsite accommodation fees are calculated from 2pm of the day of arrival to 10am of the day of departure.
  • Unless alternate prior arrangements have been made with the Park Manager, occupancy exceeding the above stated hours, will be charged as an additional day.
  • Visitors staying overnight must be paid for in advance at the prescribed fee.
  • Rates are subject to change without notice please check when booking.

Vehicles

  • Fees charged are for one vehicle per site
  • Additional vehicles, including boat and trailers and overnight visitor’s cars, shall be admitted only with the prior approval of the Park Manager, subject to suitable parking space being available and pre-payment of a fee prescribed for additional vehicles
  • The SPEED LIMIT for all vehicles in the park is 8km/h.
  • Pedestrians and animals have the right of way at all times
  • Major caravan or vehicle repairs are not permitted in the park.
  • Unregistered motor vehicles, motorbikes or quad bikes are not permitted in the Park
  • Vehicle washing is permitted in designated wash bay (10 minutes maximum)
  • Entry and exit through the Parks Cable Gates using the PIN system is restricted to the specific vehicles for which the PIN has been issued.
  • Guests and tenants should advise Park office of any requirement to admit medical, community services or trade vehicles on their behalf

Cattle Station

  • Ensure you leave all gates as you found them
  • Please be alert when driving on the station, as we are a fully operational cattle station. You may come across cattle, stockman, horses, farm equipment or helicopters and you must always give way.
  • Be aware that there are 1080 baits around property to reduce feral animal numbers that may be harmful to your pet.
  • Do not enter Cattle yards, sheds or fenced areas
  • Firearms are strictly prohibited on Pardoo Station
  • Open fires are not permitted
  • As at 1st May 2018, we do not allow drones to be used on our property or coastal areas
  • Photography of farm animals is not permitted

Access to Beaches and Rivers

  • Access to our beaches and rivers is subject to change at any time, including closure of the roads and access during high tides or bad weather at the discretion of management.
  • Please check tides before going to beach or river, 3.5m of water is required to launch or collect boats from the creek. See reception or look online.
  • On high tides there is a risk of vehicle bogging and water inundation. There is a recovery fee of $750
  • Marine Park zoning and bag limits apply to areas at Pardoo.
  • ALL gutting and fish cleaning  to be done at the beach or creek – there are no facilities at the Caravan Park
  • Swimming is not recommended

Electrical Supply

  • 15 amps power cords with 15 amp terminals at each end is used to connect moveable dwellings to the Parks’ electrical supply outlets. The recommended maximum length of cord is 15 metres.
  • Generators are not permitted at any time

Fire safety

  • Fires, charcoal BBQ’s, braziers and fireworks are not permitted.
  • In the event of a fire, move directly to muster points highlighted on park map and follow directions from Pardoo Beef Corp staff members.
  • See Park map for location of Fire hoses and extinguishers
  • Lighting of fire pit will be managed by Park Manager.

Store and Bottle shop

  • Basic Items are available at store during opening hours only
  • Alcohol is available during opening hours after 12pm only, except on Sundays, Good Friday and Anzac Day

Pets

  • Service animals accompanying persons with disabilities are always accepted, otherwise, 1 small dog is permitted unless pre-arranged with Park Manager
  • Dogs are not allowed in Communal areas, including the swimming pool
  • Dog must be on leash at all times, and dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog
  • Pet owner is responsible for any property damage or injury caused by their pet
  • If a pet behaves in any way considered aggressive, dangerous or destructive, the Park Manager has the right to ask the guest to leave the Park, in which case they will not be entitled to a refund.
  • Be aware that there are 1080 baits around property to reduce feral animal numbers that may be harmful to your pet.
  • Guests and Dog owners agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pardoo Beef Corporation, its Co-ordinators, Managers and their staff from all liability, loss and damage as a result of the guests dog. Furthermore, the guest and pet owner agree to solely all liability, financial or otherwise which may result in pet loss from disease, poison, death, theft, fire or running away.
  • NO OTHER pets are permitted

Children

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for the children in their care in the Park and are required to supervise their behaviour
  • Children under the age of six are not permitted in the showers, toilets and laundries unless accompanied by an adult or competent teenager person.
  • Children under the age of 13 years are not permitted in the swimming pool enclosure unless attended by an adult or competent teenage swimmer

Under 18’s

  • All clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or an individual over the age of 18, the property has the right to refuse any booking, when the legal guardian over 18 cannot provide current photo ID if requested on check-in.

Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates and roller blades

  • The riding of skateboards, roller skates and blades is strictly prohibited in the park
  • Subject to normal road rules, bicycles may be ridden on the park roads but NOT on pathways or grassed areas.
  • Helmets must be worn
  • Bicycles are subject to the same speed limit as motor vehicles in the Park and to be ridden during daylight hours only
  • The registered site holder is responsible for the control of any bicycle residing on or visiting his/her site and is liable for any claim, suit, action or demand that may be brought against the rider, Station Manager, Park Co-ordinator or Pardoo Beef Corporation resulting from injury or death or property damage of any guest, tenant or visitor to the Park, caused by the rider of the bicycle.

 

Site Care and Maintenance

  • The site allocated to the Site Holder must be kept clean and tidy at all times in line with the Management Standards.
  • Sullage water shall be discharged into the sullage points provided
  • Sewage must be discharged into designated dump points
  • Waste pipes and drains shall not be used for any purpose other than those for which they were constructed and no sweeping or rubbish or other unsuitable substance shall be deposited there-in. Any damage or blockage to such waste pipes or drains from misuse or negligence shall be the responsibility of the site holder whether the same is caused by his own actions or those of members of his household or his servants, agents, tenants or guests.
  • Removal of or damaging trees and scrubs is prohibited
  • The site holder shall not paint, affix or display any signs, notices, posters, placards, banners or like matter to or part of his dwelling or the site or fixtures on the site without prior consent of the Park Co Ordinator.
  • On departure, the site holder shall remove all rubbish and surplus materials and leave the site in a clean and tidy condition

Noise

  • Undue noise is prohibited at all times
  • All musical instruments, radios, sound recorders and amplifier television receivers and the like shall be controlled so that the sound arising from it is reasonable and does not cause annoyance to other occupiers
  • Site holders shall not conduct gatherings on their site or elsewhere in the park which causes noise that interferes with the peace and quiet of any other occupants at any time of the day or night.
  • Due quietness shall be observed when a site holder or his guest are entering or leaving the Park after 10pm or before 8am.

Using the Amenities

  • Site holders and their guests are expected to exercise reasonable economies of time and materials when using the Park Amenities.
  • Any faulty equipment, leaky taps or cisterns should be notified to the Park Manager as soon as practicable after they are detected

CAMP KITCHEN & BBQs

  • Please leave clean and tidy for next guest
  • BBQs – When finished, gas must be turned off.

SHOWERS AND TOILETS

  • Hot water taps must not be left running into unplugged tubs or basins
  • Day visitors are not entitled to use the showers without payment of the prescribes fee

LAUNDRY

  • Laundry must be removed from the washing machines and clothes dryers as soon as possible after the cycle is completed

POOL

  • No glass or alcohol allowed in pool area
  • Children under 13 must be supervised by an adult

Garbage Disposal

  • All garbage must be placed in the receptacles or the areas provided for the purpose
  • In the interests of hygiene and to minimise offensive odours, all domestic rubbish must be wrapped or bagged before being placed in the collection bins
  • Littering is not acceptable behaviour in this Park
  • Fish scraps to be double bagged before placing in collection bins

Telephone Messages and Mail Delivery

  • Mail delivered to the Park Office will be sorted and held for collection.

General

  • Hawking of goods or services and religious canvassing is not permitted in the park
  • Legitimate charity collections and sale of registered raffle and art union tickets in the Park, must have prior approval of the Park and Station Managers.
  • Open fires are not permitted except at designated fire pit. Compliant to any fire bans are in place.
  • Smoking is not permitted inside any building or within 5 metres of a doorway. A fee of $100 will be charged for smoking in rooms. Please dispose of butts properly.
  • Firearms are strictly prohibited

Refund Policy

Refunds of deposits and fees paid are available from Pardoo Beef Corp under the following circumstances

  • $30:00 administrative fee will applied to all cancellations made.  The remaining amount paid will be refunded.

Where notice is given less than 72 hours prior to the reservation arrival date, no refund will be given.

Guests who depart earlier than their original departure date will have the above conditions applied. No shows forfeit all fees paid. If after arrival guests are dissatisfied with any aspect of their accommodation and decide to terminate their stay, the amount refunded, if any, will be at the discretion of the Pardoo Beef Corporation. Pardoo Beef Corporation reserves the right to cancel bookings for “No Shows”.

Any money entitled to the customer after applying the refund policy may be held in credit for a future booking (credits valid for 6 months).
